Personally, I absolutely adored the year I lived in West Palm Beach. It was one of the most fantastic years of my life, due to the high quality restaurants and beaches in the area. One great thing I did was take a boat tour of the wealthy homes on the beach in West Palm Beach. This was quite the adventure, as someone who knew little about the magnificence of West Palm Beach. There are also plenty of great nightclubs in West Palm Beach. You are likely to spot a celebrity if you do decide to vacation or live in West Palm Beach! This city has everything to offer you.

West Palm Beach is a city with over 100,000 people and it is a main suburb of the Miami Metropolitan Area. It is spaced out over several small islands and peninsulas and the most famous attraction is Palm Beach. This city has excellent potential for people wanting to move here but who don't quite want to deal with the busy nature of Miami. West Palm Beach is a more reserved area, with beautiful oceanfront houses and it is particularly popular amongst retirees because of the calmness and beauty.
West Palm Beach's economy is centered around tourism and services, though there are plenty of jobs in other sectors as well and the industries continue to grow. It is home to many expensive properties and the cost of living is very high, making it difficult for many people to live here without either retirement income or a high paying job. The economy is growing along with the tourism industry, and it is likely that the cost of living will change with time as more people settle here.
For those looking to move with their family or start one, West Palm Beach has an excellent public school system and the neighborhoods are clean and safe. In terms of higher education, West Palm Beach is home to Keiser University and there are many renowned universities in nearby Miami. For outdoor recreation, the beach is an obvious attraction and you can spend many relaxing days and nights enjoying the sun. There are also extremely luxurious shopping centers for those interested, including Rosemary Square and the Royal Poinciana Plaza. There is certainly something for everyone here.
Public transportation is available in West Palm Beach, though most residents prefer cars when given the choice. There are also ample biking lanes and trails for a more environmentally friendly mode of transportation.
As mentioned, the overall cost of living in West Palm Beach is very expensive compared to similarly sized cities in the United States. The average rent is currently around $1,500 while the minimum wage is only around $8. That makes the city very difficult to afford for many people and living comfortably requires a high wage or savings. For that reason, West Palm Beach is favored by retirees and wealthy individuals and families.
West Palm Beach is a beautiful, ocean-oriented city with a relaxed lifestyle in mind. Much of the area is luxurious and tourism has continued to boom here. If you decide to move to West Palm Beach, you will find a sunny paradise city that will feel like home in no time at all. Whether you are a family or an individual, not many cities can beat the allure of this one.
